If you are writing your schema.yml file, the Symfony book isn’t too detailed as to what you can and can’t put in your schema.yml. I’d recommend you head over to the Propel Guide, and read the appendix for detailed documentation.

If you dont want write schema file try DBDesigner4 (it’s free tool).

Im not sure all these options are taken care after the conversion of schema.yml to propels native xml schema, if i remember well i noticed that when i tried to use baseClass (or it was peerClass).
